Formed in 1999, Red Pen Publishing is a media company, headquartered in Manila, Philippines. The company has been duly registered in all the required government, barangay, municipal, and mayoral offices in accordance with government regulation.

Red Pen Publishing engages in the publishing of books and similar printed matter; specifically it is in the business of transforming quality content into acceptable forms of media. The company's primary service offering is desktop publishing where the company takes on the role of interfacer, merging the client to the printer, and later, the client to the reader.

Competitive advantage and Differentiation are achieved by taking on three broad range strategies: content quality-delivery, product quality-delivery, and service quality-delivery.

In order to assure content quality, Red Pen Publishing engages in a thorough evaluation & selection process of manuscripts. Screening is based on a work's ability to meet pre-determined qualification requirements. Requirements such as an author's practical knowledge and hands-on experience of the subject-matter, his/her written communication skills, his/her expert ease in breaking down concepts into simple words.

Along with Red Pen Publishing's clear awareness of what is content quality to a customer, there is tight process and monitoring controls, where production and service processes directly relating to quality are performed under the most scrutinized conditions.

To achieve product quality that is aligned with customer expectations, Red Pen Publishing has a set minimum production reference guide that regulates selection of raw materials, and the operation of both the printing and binding process - where each stage of production passes through check measures that is designed to filter out desired quality, delivery, and price levels from defective products, late releases, and non-productivity.

To ensure product quality through the above-mentioned, the publisher establishes and maintains documented procedures that identify product status and location at all stages of production and delivery, for both individual and batch categories.
